About the Recipe
This is a great dressing for those times when you just want a simple bowl of salad or something lighter on your tummy like a little grilled chicken or tofu. The flavours in this dressing will lift most dishes to another level. even better, you can make the dressing in 10 minutes and it will store in the fridge for a week. Make it up once and if you find it. little too punchy, reduce the amount of rice vinegar until you find the balance that's right for you.
Ingredients
20g or 10 fresh large oba/shiso leaves, rinsed
1 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp Japanese rice vinegar
6 tbsp sunflower oil
a pinch of pepper
Preparation
finely chop the oba leaves
combine all the ingredients in a jar and stir or shake
once made, your dressing will last 1 week in your fridge
